God wants you to prosper and bear much fruit for His glory!

Even though we read about the wealth of Job,
Abraham, David and Solomon, some argue that
Jesus was poor and that poverty is a sacred position.
Nonsense! Jesus was NOT poor, but maybe
wealthy in His own right. He only became
poor at the cross when He took our povert upon Himself.
He had a job as a carpenter (He probably
owned the company) and was a good steward of
His money. I'm sure He paid His bills on
time, stayed out of debt, did not overspend,
and helped the less fortunate.
John 19:23 states that Jesus had a seamless
robe so valuable that the Roman soldiers
gambled for it at the cross!
This designer robe that Jesus wore should be
an example for us! God wants us to have nice
things. He just doesn't want nice things to
have us, for He is a jealous God (Exodus 20:5).
Even though we should have and enjoy nice
things, some of us are driving around in a
beat-up car with bald tires, living in a
home that's too small, paying on high
interest credit card debt, and consistently
looking at a checkbook with a zero in it...
All because we've been ignorant of what
God's Word says about our prosperity.
You can be prosperous, and you should be!
It's not only your God-given right, it's an
obligation, for Jesus said in John 15:8, "By
this is my Father glorified that you bear
much fruit and so prove to be my disciples."
Some may argue that this Scripture only
refers to winning the lost to Christ. When
we look again at John 10:10, "Jesus came
that we may have life and have it more
abundantly," we have confirmation that he's
interested in our personal increase.
Another Scripture that gives us
clarification on God's will for our increase
is found in 1 Thessalonians 4:10-12.
Paul writes, "We beseech you, brethren, that
you increase more and more; and that you
study to be quiet, to do your own business,
and to work with your own hands as we
commanded you that you may walk honestly
toward them that are without; and that you may have lack of nothing."
What you just read came from Chapter 4 from

I wanted to share that with you simply because
God wants you to prosper and bear much fruit for His glory!
