Unlimited power may be available when two or more people coordinate their thoughts and actions in a spirit of perfect harmony for the attainment of a definite purpose. By The Napoleon Hill Foundation

Unlimited power may be available when two or more people coordinate their thoughts and actions in a spirit of perfect harmony for the attainment of a definite purpose.
By The Napoleon Hill Foundation

A Master Mind alliance involves two or more people working together in perfect harmony toward the attainment of a common purpose. Such a partnership creates a superpower that enables each of its members to do far more than either would have been able to achieve separately. Choose your Master Mind partners carefully. Align yourself with people whose strengths complement yours. If you are a right brain person, for example, a logically-driven left brain person may be a perfect counterbalance to your creative bent. Above all, choose to associate only with people who share your positive values and your commitment to similar levels of achievement.

So that You May be Healed

So that You May
be Healed

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

“Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective”
(James 5:16, NIV)

TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria Osteen

All throughout scripture, we see that God’s system is based on sowing and reaping. In other words, what you make happen for others, God will make happen for you. The same is true when we pray for others. When we focus on doing God’s work, when we yield ourselves to His purposes, then He is able to do a work in us. When we pray for others, we receive His healing power in our lives as a result.

Today, look for ways to reach out to others. There’s always someone in your path that needs what you have. Pray for others in the precious name of Jesus according to the Word of God. Listen to the promptings of the Holy Spirit and quickly obey. Keep your heart open and be willing to be used by Him. Let His healing virtue flow through you and in you so that you may healed.

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father in heaven, I yield myself to You today. Search me and know my heart. Use me for Your glory. Let me be a beacon of Your love and light everywhere I go. Show me who to pray for and let Your healing virtue flow through me in Jesus’ name. Amen.

— Joel & Victoria Osteen

All enduring success is founded upon harmonious human relationships. By The Napoleon Hill Foundation

All enduring success is founded upon harmonious human relationships.
By The Napoleon Hill Foundation

Most of us are incapable of “going it alone.” Whether it is in our careers, our personal relationships, or in life, we all need others if we are to achieve the level of success we desire. Besides, what’s the point of having it all if we have no one we care about to share it? You may choose to work with others, you may ignore them, or you may choose to work against them, but the greatest successes in life come to those who work harmoniously with others. When your personal goals coincide with those of another, not only does the power of your combined labors benefit you, but such cooperation also creates a synergistic effect that allows you to achieve far more than the simple sum of your individual efforts.

Loading Up

Loading Up

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

“Blessed be the Lord, Who daily loads us with benefits...”
(Psalm 68:19, NKJ)

TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria Osteen

This morning when you woke up, what was the first thing that went through your mind? Maybe you have a deadline to meet or a to-do list a mile long. Maybe you are facing a challenge or going through a difficulty in a relationship that’s consuming your thoughts.

Today, I want to encourage you, instead of focusing on what your circumstances have to offer, focus on what God has to offer you. His mercies are new every morning, and His compassion never fails. He has victory in store for you today. He has provision in store for you today. He has joy in store for you today, and He has peace in store for you today. He daily loads you with benefits!

The key to “loading up” these daily benefits is setting your focus in the right direction. You can’t wait to see how you feel, what kind of mood your spouse is in, or what the traffic is like. No, you have to set your focus by saying, “This is going to be a great day. I am blessed and cannot be cursed! I know God is directing my steps and something good is going to happen to me today!”

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Heavenly Father, today I choose to focus on You. I open my heart and mind to receive Your daily benefits. Show me ways to be a blessing to others and use me for Your glory in Jesus’ name. Amen.

— Joel & Victoria Osteen

Open your hand and let go. It’s time to quit holding on to the rail. Get out of your comfort zone. To reach your potential you must step out not just physically, but mentally as well. Law of Attraction Wisdom of The Day: "The Mentality of Abundance"

Law of Attraction Wisdom of The Day:
"The Mentality of Abundance"

To become prosperous you must first become. Notice how the word "become" comes before prosperous. To become is a mind state. Your thoughts and focus must shift from a lack mentality to a mentality of abundance. When your thoughts are aligned with prosperity and abundance you become a powerful magnet. Prosperity and abundance will then be drawn to you. Wrap your thoughts with focus and water them with unwavering faith. They have to then manifest into the physical, because it is The Law. Thomas J. Cantrell (Mind Power 365)

A good football team relies more on harmonious coordination of effort than individual skill. By The Napoleon Hill Foundation

A good football team relies more on harmonious coordination of effort than individual skill.
By The Napoleon Hill Foundation

Teamwork is a “cooperative effort by the members of a team to achieve a common goal.” The key words in the definition are cooperative effort. Without the support of the entire group, no team can long endure. Football players quickly learn that no member of the team can be a star in every play. Most moments of glory are built upon a long series of plays, each won by committed, determined, bone-jarring blocking and tackling. A winning team is one whose members recognize that when one member of the team is successful, the entire team wins. Conversely, a sure way to develop a losing formula is to create an environment in which team members compete with one another instead of the opponent. When all members give their best in every situation -- whether they are carrying the ball or clearing the way for someone else -- the team wins, and so does each individual member of it.

Faith in Action

Faith in Action

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

"No unbelief or distrust made him waver (doubtingly question) concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong and was empowered by faith as he gave praise and glory to God"
(Romans 4:20 AMP)

TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria Osteen

Just as putting your physical body into action makes it grow strong, putting your faith in action through prayer and thanksgiving will cause your faith to grow strong, too.

I love what this verse says about Abraham: No unbelief made him waver regarding the promise of God. What does it mean to waver? To waver means to go back and forth. It's a very unsteady posture. Spiritual wavering is when we go back and forth in believing the promises of God. Wavering shows up in our words and actions.

Notice this verse didn't say that Abraham never had unbelief or doubtful thoughts. It tells us that he didn't let those thoughts cause him to waver in his words, actions and resolve. He took captive every thought and stood strong through His praise and worship! Remember, praise makes you stable; it makes you strong. Put your faith into action by thanking and praising Him all throughout the day!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Heavenly Father, today I choose to bless Your name! I thank You for life. I thank You for breath. I thank You for provision, healing, strength and joy. I praise You for abundantly supplying all my needs so that I can be a blessing to others in Jesus' name. Amen.

Law of Attraction Wisdom of The Day:
"Bring The Mind and Body Into Balance"

To rise to your ultimate height, you must let go of all the extra internal baggage. This can be anything from the past that hasn’t been dealt with. These emotional dis-eases cause the mind to be out of balance. Many times we unconsciously self sabotage our true desires by creating negative manifestations. Friendship recognizes faults in friends but does not speak of them. By The Napoleon Hill Foundation

Friendship recognizes faults in friends but does not speak of them. By The Napoleon Hill Foundation

True friendship acknowledges imperfections, accepts them as part of our individual makeup, and focuses on our positive aspects instead of expounding upon our faults. Your friends don’t like you to comment upon their failings any more than you like them to criticize you. When your friends are discouraged or disappointed in themselves, a word of encouragement will serve much better than a sermonette. To be the kind of friend you would like to have, be a good listener, offer advice when you are asked for it, and treasure the trust that your friends have placed in you. Praise them for their achievements and sympathize when they fall short, but avoid offering “constructive criticism” or playing devil’s advocate. Most of us expect more from ourselves than anyone else ever would, and we are painfully aware of our shortcomings. We don’t need to be reminded of them by our friends.

Calling Forth Seeds of Greatness

Calling Forth Seeds of Greatness

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

"Blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him"
(Jeremiah 17:7, NIV)

TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria Osteen

Today, I want to declare words of blessing over you. I want to call forth your seeds of greatness. Someone may have told you what you can't become, but I'm here to tell you what you can become. As a believer in Jesus, all of the blessings in His Word belong to you! Receive it by faith today!

You are a person of destiny. You are equipped. You are talented. You are creative. You were designed for a purpose. You are loved, chosen and accepted by Almighty God. There is nothing you can do to make Him love you more and nothing you can do to make Him love you less. His grace is sufficient for you. His angels have charge over you. You are blessed coming in and blessed going out. You have uncommon wisdom. You have uncommon joy. You have uncommon peace. He is your vindicator, and He will fight for you! No weapon formed against you shall prosper as you serve Him all the days of your life!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father God, thank You for blessing me as I put my trust in You. Today, I set my heart and mind on You. I praise You for Your goodness and faithfulness. I receive Your blessing upon every area of my life in Jesus' name. Amen.

10 Basic Tips to Program Your Subconscious Mind:

10 Basic Tips to Program Your Subconscious Mind:

To program your subconscious mind the goals must be realistic -– Losing 200 pounds in a week is impossible, no matter how good you are at programming your subconscious mind. Think in ways that will not set up a conflict between the thoughts and your feelings about the thoughts. For example, see yourself looking down at a scale that shows you are 10 or 15 pounds lighter, or wearing clothes 2 sizes smaller.
Program as if the change you want has already occurred –- For example, if you want to install a program for healthy eating habits visualize yourself as if up on a movie screen eating veggies, smiling and enjoying the food while repeating the affirmation "You/I love to eat healthy food!"

Sometimes using first person..."I"...works best, while for others second person references..."You"... works best. You may want to experiment with both ways to see (or hear) what feels right to you. (see below)

As a rule, program your subconscious mind in third-person... Do this by watching yourself up on a movie screen in your mind’s eye and use the reference "you" in place of "I". However, not all people are the same, so if using first-person or "I" seems less awkward and more intense or real to you go ahead and do that.

Once the programming part of the session has been completed, at the end it is a good idea to "step into" the movie and experience the finished product as fully and intensely as you can in your mind...act as if you are actually there...seeing, hearing, and feeling as if your are "in the movie" and it is real. (this is how you can "real-ize" what you want)

Program using as many sensory modalities as comfortably possible – Example: see yourself walking along the beach, feel the sand between your toes, hear the sounds of the surf crashing on the shore, smell the salt in the breeze, hear the gulls overhead.

Ignore the problem, focus on the solution – Because of the way your mind processes information it’s best to program your subconscious mind with what you DO WANT rather than what you DON'T WANT. Your subconscious mind cannot process a negation. A negation is where you present an idea and append the sentence to imply the opposite of the idea.

For instance, saying "I don’t like to smoke" is a negation – something you do not like. Negations are processed by the higher regions of the cortical or thinking brain, (i.e. the conscious mind). So, you CAN process negatives when you read or hear them, but ONLY at the conscious level.

Your subconscious mind must process what "I", "like" and "smoke" means then send that back to the conscious mind where the negation is processed. So, "I don’t like to smoke", processed at the subconscious level becomes "I – like to smoke." The thinking mind then processes the negative at the conscious level.

Use Intensity and Repetition in order to program your subconscious mind –- Making visualizations as vivid as possible and using you powers of imagination will create intensity. Practicing, listening, or programming regularly provides the repetition.

Keep it simple –- One programming session should include only one exercise at a time. You may have several sessions spread out over the day or week, but one session = one program goal.

Don’t question it, just allow it to happen –- The last thing you want to do after a programming session is to question yourself about whether it worked. The most powerful changes occur after you have forgotten about the programming and suddenly realize, "Wow, it worked".

Belief and Confidence –- Believe in the power of your subconscious mind because one of the most powerful ways to program your subconscious mind is through your belief systems. What the thinker (conscious mind) thinks, the prover (unconscious mind) proves. Beliefs are taken as instructions to the subconscious mind, especially when accompanied by congruent feelings.

Program in a highly focused, self-hypnotic state –- Hypnosis bypasses the critical factor of the conscious mind allowing a direct input link to the subconscious mind. The subconscious mind will not accept input that does not fit your value & belief systems.

This is why changing beliefs does not involve removing or erasing old beliefs. It simply involves installing new, more desirable beliefs and getting the message of your preference through to the subconscious mind – you guessed it, with intensity and repetition!

Remember that no one is ever rewarded or promoted because of a bad disposition and a negative mental attitude. By The Napoleon Hill Foundation

Remember that no one is ever rewarded or promoted because of a bad disposition and a negative mental attitude. By The Napoleon Hill Foundation

If you really examine any well-managed organization, you will find that the people who are most successful are those who are positive and helpful, people who always find the time to offer encouragement and praise when it is deserved. The people who occupy the top positions are almost always happy, enthusiastic people who encourage others to behave in the same way. Yet there are always a few individuals who never seem to get the message and behave as though they can complain their way to the top. There isn’t a single situation in your career, your relationships with others, or in your personal life that benefits from a negative attitude. All will be greatly improved if you make it a practice to approach life in a positive way.

You Were Planned

You Were Planned

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you…"
(Jeremiah 1:5, NIV)

TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria Osteen

What an amazing thought: God knew you before you were even born! He saw your unformed substance and said, "I have a purpose for this life. I have good plans for them!" Then He breathed His life into you and sent you through your mother and father. They may have had issues, but that doesn't have to stop you from becoming all that God intended you to be. You have been handpicked by Almighty God to be here at this time in history!

Sometimes we hear parents say, "We weren't expecting this child. They were a surprise. They were an accident." No, that child may have been a surprise to you, but they weren't a surprise to Almighty God. No child can be born without God breathing His life into them. You may think, "Well, Joel, I was unwanted. I was an unplanned pregnancy." No, you wouldn't be here if God didn't give life to your seed.

In God's eyes, there is no such thing as being illegitimate. Remember, He knew you before you were ever born! Find confidence in His love knowing that you are a person of destiny, and you are part of His mighty plan!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father, thank You for choosing me before I was ever born. Thank You for knowing me and revealing Yourself to me. I trust that You are working in my life today, even when I can't see it. I stand in faith knowing that You have a mighty plan for me in Jesus' name. Amen.

Friendship needs frequent expression to remain alive.
By The Napoleon Hill Foundation

We are all human, with frailties, foibles, and insecurities. We each need to be appreciated for the uniqueness that makes us individual, and we need to be told that we are appreciated. Maintaining friendships requires effort and persistent expression, both in word and deed. Tell your friends often how much you appreciate them. Remember occasions that are important to them. Congratulate them upon their achievements. Most important of all, let them know that you are there for them whenever they need you.

Your Heredity Can't Stop Your Destiny

Your Heredity Can't Stop Your Destiny

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

"…If God is for us, who can be against us?"
(Romans 8:31, NIV)

TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria Osteen

I heard somebody say, "Don't let your heredity stop your destiny." Don't let the way somebody treated you, or what they did or didn't give you keep you from pressing forward and becoming all that God has created you to be. The people who raised you may have had addictions, but that doesn't have to be your future. You can be the one to break that negative cycle. Your parents may have had anger issues or never amounted to much, but you don't have to keep letting that curse be passed from generation to generation. You can be the one to say, "No more. This is a new day! I may have had an unfair past, but I'm not going to have an unfair future. I know that God put a blessing on me before anybody could put a curse, and I'm not going to let my heredity stop my destiny."

Today, know that God is for you. When you choose to put Him first place in your life, then nothing can stop your destiny! Seek Him with a humble heart and break free from the bondages of the past!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father, thank You for empowering me by Your Holy Spirit. Thank You for giving me new life. I declare today that no weapon formed against me shall prosper as I daily put You first place in everything that I do in Jesus' name. Amen.

Quick promotions are not always the most enduring. By The Napoleon Hill Foundation

Quick promotions are not always the most enduring.
By The Napoleon Hill Foundation

Most people who fail after receiving a promotion do so because they fail to rise to the challenges the new position offers. It is perfectly normal to feel a twinge of insecurity when you assume a new position -- after all, you’ve never had this job before -- but seldom do promotions come before you are ready for them. Now, it is a fact that the day you are promoted, you are not yet competent in that position. You were promoted into the position because of your potential, not because you were expected to perform flawlessly from the outset. Work to prove that your boss’s faith in you was justified. Make becoming as proficient as possible in your new job -- in the shortest possible time – your number one priority.

Choosing Your Heavenly Heritage

Choosing Your Heavenly Heritage

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh"
(Ezekiel 36:26, NIV)

TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria Osteen

In life, we all have negative things happen to us. We go through situations that are unfair. I know people who were raised in an unhealthy environment. Their parents had issues, and now it's making it much more difficult on them.

But here is what I've learned: when you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, He gives you a new heart. In other words, your blood line changes. No longer are you subject to your earthly heritage, you become subject to your heavenly heritage! His spiritual blessing always overrides the curse in the natural realm. When you understand who you are and what God has already done, then no matter what someone else has done, no matter how unfair it was, no matter how you were raised, you won't get bitter. You won't live with a chip on your shoulder. You realize that nothing can stop you from fulfilling your God-given destiny!

Today, remember you came from Almighty God. He gave you life. When you choose Him, you are choosing your heavenly heritage of blessing and eternal, abundant life!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

God in heaven, thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus so that I may be saved. Today I surrender every area of my life to You. Have Your way in me; let Your will be done in my life. Thank You for making me new in Jesus' name. Amen.

Get Filled Up!

Get Filled Up!

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled”
(Matthew 5:6, NIV)

TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria Osteen

Sometimes, it’s easy to get wrapped up in taking care of the people around us. You may find that you’re always giving, taking care of the children, working overtime at the office, or helping that friend who is struggling. And that’s all good. But if you’re not careful, you can end up feeling rundown. That’s why you have to take time every day to get filled back up. Your first priority should be taking care of yourself and making time to get into the presence of Jesus.

Throughout scripture, we see that in God’s presence there is fullness of joy, fullness of peace, and fullness of victory. In His presence, you’re refreshed and restored. That’s why it’s so important to take time every day to read your Bible and meditate on His promises. We have to be diligent to have that quiet time with Him.

Today, take time to get alone with God and just say, “God, I love You today. Thank You for my life, for my family, for the opportunities You’ve given me. Lord, I know every good thing comes from You.” When you live like that, with your heart connected to His, you’ll be refreshed, restored, reenergized and filled up for the journey of life!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father, I love You so much today. Thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus so that I can have a personal relationship with You. Draw me to You. Keep me close to You always in Jesus’ name. Amen.

If you call on your friends only when you need something, you will soon find yourself without friends. By The Napoleon Hill Foundation

If you call on your friends only when you need something, you will soon find yourself without friends. By The Napoleon Hill Foundation

There is a great deal of wisdom in the old saw, “If you want friends, be a friend.” Friendship means giving without expecting anything in return. Busy, successful people are not searching for new friends. If you want to be their friend, you must make the effort to befriend them. Let them know that you are interested in them as people, not in what they can do for you, and you may find that you have made a true and loyal friend.

A Vital Necessity

A Vital Necessity

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

“Set your mind and heart to seek (inquire of and require as your vital necessity) the Lord your God...”
(1 Chronicles 22:19 AMP)

TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria Osteen

What things do you consider a vital necessity in your life? In other words, what can’t you live without? Most people would immediately think of food, water and shelter; but in reality, we can’t really live unless our minds and hearts are set on seeking the Lord. Sure, you can exist without seeking Him, but you are called to more than just mere existence. You are called to live...to thrive...to enjoy your life abundantly! The good news is that you have complete control over what you set your mind and heart on. You decide what you think about.

I encourage you today; set your mind and heart on seeking the Lord! Write down your favorite scriptures and commit them to memory. Whenever you can, think about those verses. Meditate on God and His infinite love. Make a habit of seeking Him and ask Him to reveal Himself to you. When you require the Lord as a vital necessity, you will truly enjoy living the abundant life He has in store for you!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Heavenly Father, today I choose to set my mind on You. I seek You with my whole heart. Show me Your love and character today. Show me Your ways that I may walk and live closely with You. I love You in Jesus’ name. Amen.

— Joel & Victoria Osteen

Bible Verse of The Day: 2 Corinthians 4:16-18

Bible Verse of The Day: It is Written,
So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:16-18

A Secret Scrolls message from Rhonda Byrne Creator of The Secret and The Power

A Secret Scrolls message from Rhonda Byrne
Creator of The Secret and The Power

From The Secret Daily Teachings
If a person is focused on illness then they are inadvertently attracting more illness to them. On the other hand, if a person focuses more on health than illness, then the law of attraction must obey and produce health. The principles of the law of attraction are a powerful tool to summon the healing power within us, and can be used as an aid in total harmony with all of the wonderful medical procedures that are available today.

Remember that if there were no healing power within us, nothing could be healed.

Friends must be grown to order-not taken for granted. By The Napoleon Hill Foundation

Friends must be grown to order-not taken for granted.
By The Napoleon Hill Foundation

Your friends will be what you make them. If you are the kind of friend who freely gives of your time and always shows consideration for others, your friends will be generous and kind. If you are the kind of person who takes your friends for granted, neither giving nor expecting much in return, you will attract friends who exhibit the same qualities. In friendship, like attracts like. Assess your behavior occasionally to determine what kind of friend you are. Are you the kind of person you would like to have as a friend? Do you freely give more than you expect in return, or are you always asking and never giving? Do you take the time to stay in touch, to remember friends’ special occasions? When you become so consumed with your own interests that you forget about your friends, you are well on your way to becoming friendless.

The Reward is Set in Place

The Reward is Set
in Place

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

“You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart”
(Jeremiah 29:13, NIV)

TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria Osteen

Have you ever thought about the fact that a reward is put into place before anyone ever claims it? Right now, there are rewards for certain fugitives on the loose. That money is already in a fund just waiting for someone to step up and claim it. All a person has to do is find the fugitive, and the money will be released.

In the same way, God has a reward that has already been set in place for you and me, too. It’s just waiting to be released. But, there are conditions to that reward as well. God says, “If you will just seek Me, I will give you the reward. If you will just make an effort to please Me, if you will just get up in the morning and thank Me, if you will just read the scripture, I’ll pour out My blessing.” You may not understand it all, but God says, “That’s okay. I will give you the reward because your heart is in the right place, and you are making the effort.”

Today, there is nothing more important that seeking God in all your ways. When you go about your day, keep Him on your mind. Talk to Him and ask for His direction. Seek Him because you will find Him and find peace, abundance, joy and victory all the days of your life!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father God, thank You for ordering my steps and pouring out Your blessing on me. I choose to put You first place in everything I do. I honor You and thank You for Your goodness and faithfulness in Jesus’ name. Amen.

— Joel & Victoria Osteen

How Do You Honor God?

How Do You
Honor God?

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

“REMIND PEOPLE to be submissive to [their] magistrates and authorities, to be obedient, to be prepared and willing to do any upright and honorable work.”
(Titus 3:1, AMP)

TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria Osteen

What do you do to honor God? A lot of times people think, “I go to church to honor God. I read my Bible to honor God. I sing and clap in worship to honor God.” And yes, those are ways to honor God, but did you know that you honor God just as much when you get to work on time? You honor God when you are productive each day and honor the people in authority over you. You honor God when you excel in your career.

Actions speak louder than words. When you give your very best in the workplace, your whole life is giving praise to God. Showing up with a good attitude, being friendly, organized, just being your best — people will notice there’s something different about you. They’ll want what you have.

As believers, we should set the standard in all areas of life. People should see the depth of your character and your spirit of excellence and know that you are a child of the Most High God. Make the decision to honor Him in all that you do because You are His representative in the earth today!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father in heaven, I choose to honor You in all that I do. I choose to set the standard and do my very best. Thank You for the privilege to be Your representative. Help me to show Your love and excellence in everything I do. I love You and bless You in Jesus’ name. Amen.

— Joel & Victoria Osteen

Bible Verse of The Day: James 1:19-21

Scripture of The Day: It is Written,
My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, 20 because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires. 21 Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you.

Willing cooperation produces enduring power, while forced cooperation ends in failure. By The Napoleon Hill Foundation

Willing cooperation produces enduring power, while forced cooperation ends in failure.
By The Napoleon Hill Foundation

No civilization based upon the unjust treatment of its people has ever endured. A tyrant may force the cooperation of others for a time, but that power is never sustained. Only when people are accorded the respect they deserve do they willingly create and maintain successful organizations and societies. When you build a company or an organization based on fairness and justice for every member, you have built a power that will long endure. The best way to secure the commitment and unending cooperation of others is through the simple application of the Golden Rule. It is the most successful and long-lasting management theory ever developed. When you treat others as you would like to be treated were you in their situation, you will inspire loyalty and enthusiastic cooperation. Set high standards for yourself and others, treat them well, let them do their jobs, and they will perform miracles for you.

He Gives You All Things

He Gives You
All Things

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

“He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all — how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?”
(Romans 8:32, NIV)

TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria Osteen

God loves you so much today — more than you could ever imagine! Not only did He send His Son, Jesus to pay the price for your sins so that He could have relationship with you, He also wants to lavish you with everything He has and everything He is.

When you join in covenant with Him through the precious blood of Jesus Christ, He makes all things available to you.

What does “all” mean? It means exactly that — all. Do you need peace? He is your peace. Do you need joy? He has supernatural joy which gives you strength. Do you need restoration in your life? He is your restorer. Do you need rest? He has it. Provision? It’s yours. Protection? That too! He is the single source of everything that you will ever need, and He will freely give it to you!

Maybe at times you’ve struggled to receive all that He has for you. Maybe you think that you don’t want to bother God, or you somehow think you don’t deserve what He has for you. Friend, those mindsets are not the truth. The truth is that you can’t earn a gift. He gives it freely. Imagine His arms outstretched to you right now. Receive His love, receive His grace, and receive all that He has in store for you!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father, right now, I declare by faith that I receive all that You have for me. Thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus to die for me so that I can live with You. I declare that He is my Lord and Savior, and I receive all that You have for me in Jesus’ name. Amen.

— Joel & Victoria Osteen

Bible Verse of The Day: James 1:2-4

Bible Verse of The Day: It is Written,
2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters,[a] whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

Love That Gives

Love That Gives

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
(John 3:16, NIV)

TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria Osteen

Have you ever thought about how love affects giving? I’ve heard it said that you can give without loving, but you can’t love without giving. Love prompts us to give of ourselves, our time, abilities and resources. The Bible tells us that God is love, and the world will know that we are His followers by the love we show — and giving is what shows our love!

We are entering into a time in the year that the world knows as the season of giving, but let’s remember to take time to focus on the greatest gift of all, the gift of eternal, abundant life through Jesus. If you’ve never received this gift, I invite you to open your heart and pray this simple prayer: “Lord Jesus, I come to You today, giving You all that I am. I repent of my sins and confess that I need You. I believe You died and rose for me. Be my Lord and Savior and make me new today. I receive Your love and Your gift of eternal life.” Then, go out and share the gift of love with someone else because it’s the only gift that will last in eternity!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father in heaven, thank You for loving me and setting me free. I choose to serve You with my whole heart all the days of my life. Help me to love others the way You love me. Give me opportunities to be a blessing everywhere I go in Jesus’ name. Amen.

— Joel & Victoria Osteen

Bible Verse of The Day: 1 Corinthians 13:4–8

Bible Verse of The Day: It is Written,
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. 1 Corinthians 13:4–8a

"Overcoming"

Overcoming is but one step. That step gives birth to motion which creates energy. Energy creates momentum. Focused momentum creates power and thrust. Friendly cooperation will get you far more than unfriendly agitation in any market. By The Napoleon Hill Foundation

Friendly cooperation will get you far more than unfriendly agitation in any market.
By The Napoleon Hill Foundation

When you treat your competitors with the courtesy and respect you would like, most will respond in kind, and the result is a stable, productive, profitable industry. On the other hand, an industry or market that is composed of vicious, unethical competitors will soon destroy itself. When you are asked how your products and services compare with those of your competitors, speak respectfully and politely about your rivals, but use the question to shift the discussion to your company and your products. Acknowledge others’ good points, and then move on. If you complain too much about the competition, prospective customers may wonder what they are missing and refuse to buy until they have compared your products and services with those of others.

Unhindered Prayers

Unhindered Prayers

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE

"…Treat her as you should so your prayers will not be hindered"
(1 Peter 3:7, NLT)

TODAY'S WORD From Joel Osteen

Did you know that the way you treat others has an impact on the effectiveness of your prayers? The Bible says that the prayer of the righteous person is powerful. But if we aren't treating others with honor, kindness and respect, then we aren't allowing His righteousness to operate in us. When we don't treat others the way we should, it closes the door to God's power and hinders our prayers.
This is especially true in a marriage relationship. Marriage isn't just an agreement between two people to live life together. Marriage is a God-ordained institution that helps us understand love and unity. When two people are married, they become one physically, spiritually and emotionally. This particular passage is directed toward husbands, but it applies to all believers as well. We should always treat others "with understanding," which means considering their needs above our own. We should always aim to treat others with kindness, dignity and respect, and quickly choose forgiveness.
Remember, the way we treat others is the only thing that matters in eternity, and it impacts our prayers on earth. So today, choose love, choose forgiveness, and choose to treat others with respect so that your prayers can be powerful and effective the way God promises!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father in heaven, I want to live in Your ways. I want Your power to flow though me. Show me how to treat others with the highest level of love and respect. Let my words and actions always honor You so that my prayers will be powerful and effective in Jesus' name. Amen.

No one can succeed and remain successful without the friendly cooperation of others.
By The Napoleon Hill Foundation

In today’s interdependent society, it is virtually impossible in any business, profession, or occupation for an individual to achieve great heights of success without the help of others. The best way to get friendly cooperation is to give it. When you make it a practice to encourage others and to help them advance in their careers whenever possible, most will reciprocate when you need their help. Give generously, and you will benefit in kind.

Abundant Life Today

Abundant Life Today

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

“...I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.”
(John 10:10, ESV)

TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria Osteen

Are you living the abundant life Jesus came to give? I’m not talking about living in the fanciest house or driving the newest car. No, His promise of abundant life goes way beyond material things that this world offers. Abundant life means “life to the full.” That means no matter what is going on around you, you can partake of the full blessings of God. You can have peace in the midst of a storm. You can have joy when things are uncertain. You can have hope when circumstances seem hopeless.

As believers, a lot of times it’s easy to look at that verse and think, “God is going to give me abundant life someday.” But the truth is that God wants you to have abundant life TODAY!

Don’t waste another second living in mediocrity or settling for less than God’s best. Receive His blessings by faith today. Receive His hope, joy, strength and favor. Declare that you are living the abundant life today and every day!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father, thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus so that I can have eternal life. I know that You want the best for me. Help me to keep my heart and mind focused on You so that I can walk in Your ways all the days of my life in Jesus’ name. Amen.
